Garrison Woods

Garrison Woods located in southwest Calgary bordering along Crowchild Trail is a newly revised area formerly of CFB Currie Barracks military houses. Garrison Woods is a popular area due to the proximity to downtown, Marda Loop and Glenmore Reservoir. Homes in the area are apartment, condominiums, townhouses, duplexes, and single-family homes that are older to infills with pricing in the moderate range. The popular region has bakeries, grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, specialty shops, commercial businesses, and medical offices. The schools located in the area are public, separate and French Immersion close by. With many walking paths, greenspaces, and playground the community is great for outdoor activities. Garrison Woods is part of the Marda Loop Community Association and provides many activities, skating, art classes, swimming, fitness classes, yoga, classes for all ages young to senior.
