Crescent Heights

Crescent Heights is an inner-city community in Calgary along McHugh Bluff with the south side along the Bow River and the north side of along 16th Avenue. Known for scenic views of downtown and the mountains, it is a popular area for mainly middle to luxury style homes of varying from older to ultra-modern character. The Crescent Heights Community Association is a very active focal point in the area for activities throughout the year. The CHCA features a casino, international artists, concerts, singers, and art galleries, to raise funds for the local community. Due to Crescent Heights at a higher level in the city, the New Year’s Eve fireworks is held in the neighborhood. Crescent Heights Village has small shops, salons, convenient stores, pharmacy, restaurants, and professional businesses. Many steps, 167 stairs starting at Crescent Heights and leading down to Memorial Drive, is popular for active runners and outdoor enthusiasts. Proximity to SAIT, Jubilee Auditorium, Prince’s Island, and the Calgary Zoo. Crescent Heights High School in located in the community.
